Three Swoon-Worthy Colour Schemes for a Spring Wedding-Fascinators Direct

Spring Wedding Colour Schemes

Spring really is a beautiful time of the year to tie the knot and it’s quickly becoming one of the most popular seasons for Weddings in the UK. Blooms are abundant, skies are blue and it signifies new beginnings – what more could you want for your special day. Pretty pastels are always a popular choice for Spring so we’re offering you plenty of Instagram-worthy wedding inspiration today, with our three favourite colour schemes for a spring wedding…

Soft Yellow

What could be more perfect for a spring wedding than a pretty pastel yellow colour palette? This delightful shade of yellow goes hand in hand with the season, meaning you’ll have sunshine on your special day no matter what the weather may be! Team it with wooden décor and handfuls of foliage for a rustic yet romantic vibe or opt for ivory hues for a fine art feel. As the bride-to-be, you may not be feeling daring enough to don a yellow gown but you can always add subtle pops of colour to your wedding day look. From twinkling yellow earrings to a long lemon-coloured ribbon tied around the stems of your bouquet, there are lots of lovely ways to give a nod towards your chosen colour palette. A yellow fascinator will brighten up your occasion-wear outfit and if you want to work in an additional colour to the palette, consider lavender, green or even a light grey.

Mint & Gold

For couples who want a dash of luxury on their wedding day, a mint and gold colour scheme is all you need to give your spring celebration the wow factor. We’re talking a pair of glittering gold heels teamed with a greenery-based bridal bouquet, ‘maids in mint green gowns and cakes adorned with gilded icing. Why not give your guests a clue about what’s around the corner with white invitations adorned with golden calligraphy? You could tie them together with a silk mint bow for that extra fabulous finishing touch. Wedding guests should have a browse through our gorgeous collection of mint green fascinators.

Peach & Blue

One of the prettiest colour palettes out there, we can’t get enough of peach and blue. This gorgeous duo can be used in so many ways throughout your spring wedding. From peach-flavoured cocktails served with cornflower blue straws. You could even use peaches as alternative place cards, simply stick a flag in each peach with the name of each guest on. Style your tablescape with pale blue runners, napkins and charger plates. Peach coloured blooms will look divine adorning long wooden trestle tables, while wooden crates overflowing with peach-coloured posies will look lovely dotted around the entrance of your venue.
