The Hottest Summer Wedding Colour Schemes-Fascinators Direct

Summer has finally arrived here at Fascinators Direct and the scorching weather has got us thinking about the hottest wedding colour schemes for the season ahead. Today we’ve picked out four of our favourite palettes, so keep reading to be inspired for your very own summer celebration…

Dusty Desert Red

A dusty desert colour palette is all about embracing those modern bohemian vibes for your big day. We suggest replacing traditional flowers with Pampus grass for an organic earthy feel, teamed with plenty of greenery and lots of wooden elements. Moroccan-style rugs will look epic lining your ceremony aisle or even as unusual flooring for a tipi outdoor wedding. We recommend using pale dusky pink or peach hues alongside darker tones of red to create the décor for your summer wedding. This colour scheme is made for the style-conscious bride and groom who want to give their celebration an edgy yet boho touch.

Tropical Bright

A ‘tropical bright’ colour palette is the perfect fit for a sizzling summer soirée. From your bouquet to your centrepieces, everything about this theme is eye-catching and it’s guaranteed to win over your guests. Opt for blooms that are brimming with hot pink, burnt orange, deep red and more to decorate your venue – you could even add in palm leaves for a touch of tropic. Go all out with tropical-inspired cocktails too – from pina coladas to strawberry daiquiri. Decorate your cocktail station with freshly cut fruits, such as lemon, pineapple and oranges. Then, it’s time to get celebrating…

Something Blue

A wonderful way of adding ‘something blue’ into your special day, a blue colour palette is an understated yet elegant choice for your summer wedding. From pale blue right through to navy, blue is a timeless choice that works beautifully alone, but also lends itself to many other colours. Your best girls will look divine in an array of blue gowns, while navy suits will look dapper on your groom and groomsmen. If you’re a daring bride to be, why not rock a subtly coloured gown? If you want to go down the ‘fine art’ wedding route, opt for textured runners and napkins to decorate your wedding tables. Draped organza curtains tied with Eucalyptus will make a truly special space for you to say ‘I Do’ at your ceremony. This gorgeous hue really is making us swoon!

Loud & Yellow

Add a splash of sunshine to your summer wedding with a loud, yellow colour scheme that is impossible to ignore. A sure-fire way to make a statement at your special day, this vibrant shade of yellow is guaranteed to get you and your guests smiling. From colour-popping heels peeping out from under your gown, to tables adorned with yellow napkins, candlesticks and flowers, this gorgeous summery shade will certainly set the scene. You could even scent your celebration with citrus-flavoured fragrances to create an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.
